My dad passed down a model 24 to me. It is a 22 magnum over 20 gauge and in mint condition. I have only fired it on two occasions and enjoyed it very much. The gun was manufactured in 1967, that's the same year I was born.

Very cool! That is another combo that I would like to have one day. Feel free to share a picture of it here. I love a gun that has a cool story with it!My dad passed down a model 24 to me. That's a good idea. I think I will pass down most of my collection while I'm still around (old, gray, grumpy etc) so I can hopefully get to see or hear about them enjoying the guns.
Thanks! I know they are not exactly high end guns or what most would consider "collectibles" but I am pretty proud of them.
One of my .22/.410s is one of the sweetest shooting clay target guns I have ever used. I am not bragging, but I literally almost never miss. It's just a shame that you pay twice the price for half (or less) the round.
My next purchase will hopefully be a .222/20 model 24v and then after that I'm going to hold out until I can find a larger combo like a 223 Remington, .30-30 Winchester, .357 Smith & Wesson Magnum, or .357 Remington Maximum over 20 or 12.
Awesome collection! And very impressive representations of combinations! If you are anything like me, you’ll probably be holding on to all of them. A combo gun shoot day would be a fun thing to put together sometime…I've got a Stevens #23, .22-.410, Savage .22-.410, Savage .22 mag-.410, Savage .22mag-20ga Savage .357-20ga, Savage .223-20ga, Savage .223-12ga and .30/.30-12ga.
Great little guns! The .357-20ga took the most time to find.
