Found that out today. I fished the entire day with crank baits and not a single bite. /Sigh.

Used tons of them,, used to take the org. hooks off and replace them with 4x triple hooks and kill the Tarpon with them in the back country. Most over 100lbs

The are great baits, I have three or four just slightly varying in color. However, I will never throw away my worm, salamander and crayfish rubber lures. They work wonders on the right conditions.

Yeah, keep the variety. You'll need it. The best Bass I ever caught was on a spinner bait, but they are also one of my least productive types of lure.

White spinner bait is my go to. Caught as many with it as worms.

I've never gotten enough results to give me much confidence with them, so they don't see a lot of use with me. Texas Rigged Worms are my go-to confidence bait. Finesse worm over a weed bed.
