I guess he gave up? Updated...he came back...

Beavers are almost impossible to get rid of I have shot 11 so far this year and they have not slowed down I did wrap all my good trees with wire but sill I have way to many on my place

Trappers charge $100 a piece to remove them, no discounts for 14, = $1,400 - don't ask me how I know.
 
A $6.00 box of cci stingers and a good scoped 22 is a lot cheaper if you have the time to invest to get rid of them, a full moon night is your friend
 
Oh trust me, I have now & did have the firepower to remove them, neighbors wouldn't let me go all cowabunga on them. :becky:
That would have been a fun couple of nights, ala carl in caddyshack...
 
Some of ya'll were right, he came back...But he skipped that tree and went for a much smaller one about 30 feet away. Then he was all, "I'm gonna drag this little branch to the water and this other little branch...and this one. Yep, that's enough for the day..."
