You know what I hate? Flying insects, which is what spiders eat. So I am for having all the web spinning spiders from all over coming here.

B BypassThey were bad around my house the last 3 years, but I waged chemical warfare against them last year, and I've only seen a couple around the house this year. They are definitely still out in the woods, but they're gone around the house. I got on DIY pest control and bought a gallon of this.. https://diypestcontrol.com/bifen-it
I mixed it strong.. like 4 oz in one of those 32 oz Zep spray bottles from home depot.. I walked around my whole house and sprayed the foundation wall and the eaves all the way around. Did the same around my shop and storage building. That spray bottle is kicks it out strong enough to hit the top of my 1 story house. The Bifen kills them on contact, and leaves a residual. They have not been back this year.
Gotta be kinda careful because the stuff will kill pollinators too. Best to do it at dusk after the honey bees are all bedded down.
This is the same stuff that you can mix into a propane fogger to take out mosquitos and ticks, and it'll also murderize ants and roaches. It's become my go-to insecticide. Good s#it.
Thank you.
