I know a guy

Yeah they were the pioneers of cutting corners in the 1980s . Those folks were using radiator hoses on mp5sd guns . Seriously... no joking around they did .
But Farmer sold folks what they wanted. I read where he would fix any other shop's screwed up conversion for a flat $35, no matter how bad.

I was impressed when he filed suit against the ATF. He won in District Court, but lost the ATF appeal. The Supremes wouldn't touch it...

I don't believe that simply owning parts is a crime.
You can buy full auto parts online, as long as you aren't using them to manufacture a 'machine gun' you aren't breaking any laws.
There was a guy selling full auto sears at the Jonesboro gun show not that long ago, in the past couple of years.

Owning everything you need to produce an unregistered full auto weapon, (or other NFA weapon), can be construed as 'constructive intent'.

That's why if you have a short barreled AR15 upper you should also have a pistol lower about.

Now, will the BATF ever be in a position to make that judgement, is another matter entirely.

Personally, I keep well on the safe side of the legality line, I can't afford to argue with them in court.

Hard pass.
Remember what happened to Joe Pesci and his brother in 'Casino'?
That could be us...
I figured you were backing out just because you didn’t want to ride all the way to NV with Greg.

Can you imagine THAT trip?

I bet he would argue with you about SOMETHING (or nothing) all the way there and back.

I’m not going to tell you how but you can modify an uzi by only making modifications to the sear and bolt . No other changes are needed . That being said just don’t do it . It’s not worth it and you won’t survive federal prison

My uzi is a legal conversion done by hard times armory and all they did is modify the sear and the bolt . That’s it . All the rest is Israeli semi auto uzi

Oh you can do it by modifying parts no doubt, but that is not what he said. He said a box of replacement parts. Replacing parts you are going to be replacing the complete lower, and then you are going to need a notched full auto bolt. The notched full auto bolt is going to need to be opened up to accept the restrictor ring or the restirctor ring is going to have to be cut off. No matter what the sear holes are going to have to be opened up.

I say this as someone who has legally converted a semi auto uzi to run a legal full auto bolt.
