But I’d just like to say how thankful I am for what we have.
Cooking our 12 pound post-Thanksgiving turkey so we can make sammiches the next few days.
After a wonderful yesterday with extended family and incredible food and drink.
Something I’d never really experienced as a child.
A lot of folks won’t be as fortunate this season.
Hope y’all are all doing well.

I was just getting ready to slice open the hard roll for Thanksgiving sammiches when I saw this post. My wife bought an extra Butterball cooked breast just for that.

lostchild we all spew a little. It’s all good. We do have a lot to be thankful for for sure.

My leftovers today was a turkey sandwich on toasted sourdough bread with homemade mayo, provolone and cranberry sauce as a condiment.

Nothing like good food, family, and friends ! We had leftover baked ham with eggs and whole wheat biscuits for breakfast! Had leftovers for lunch and going to have turkey salad sandwiches for supper!

I don’t know, but seems that the food taste better next day….Today, the turkey and the pork shoulder we cooked tasted so delicious….
