I know you cant sell pistols to an out of state resident(no transfer)but what about rifles

any firearm transaction to a out of state resident MUST go through a FFL. pistol or rifle, doesn't matter.

I had a "firearms instructor" that wanted to trade rifles, to meet him at the state lines, after trying to convince me that it was perfectly legal. This was on Armslist. I send him to the ATF website for clarification, and told him no. He insisted anyways.

First of all, don't. EVER. Second of all, you never know if some bored ATF agent is setting up a trade, so... Don't. Ever.

yeah this guy was off of Armslist also. dude was blowing up my
phone,didnt seem legit.
