I find that FB marketplace is a really good place to get rid of what would otherwise be throw away junk for money. Every time I am pilings stuff up to throw away I put it all in a big picture with one juicy (what they think anyway) item and price it for like 40-50 bucks take all. If by the end of the day it hasn't sold I throw it all out like I was going to do anyway. 9 times outta 10....I make 40-50 bucks on it.

But put something really valuable at a fair price (that doesn't have an engine) and you have to deal with lowball offers all day.

I have had similar experiences on craigslist selling odds and ends. Everyone wants the best stuff for nothing. Plus they don't understand why you won't accept their one-sided terms.
