Those look like about 2lbs based on specs. 8", lace up, water resistant and steel toed. They may be a viable candidate but they're damned near three times the price of Wolverines. I don't scrimp on dress shoes, I guess I'll need to step up my boot budget.

I have a pair of Belleville "brown shoe" Navy flight deck boots that I wear for work. They are steel toe and I like them.

I spray all my new boots with water and alcohol mixed and wear them dry. They form to your feet but some may bleed and color your feets so plastic bags will stop that
