But back to the point....….

His response was "Learn to shoot around your hand." Meaning put your hand on the persons chest and place your muzzle between your thumb and index finger and shoot or something to that affect. Basically learn to shoot around your hand.

To this day I don't think that guy liked me at all because I can easily imagine lost fingers in that scenario.

Maybe I missed something. What say you?
 
I've been in martial arts and boxing for 4 decades. Always keep your back hand tucked into your chest when you're wielding a weapon with the other to keep from injuring yourself

Use a bigger caliber than the other guy.
