Location
Where the stars at night are big and bright.
I was thinking that if Dad had been carrying a pistol, after he rescued the child, he could have put the kid back in the car, closed the door, taken aim, and shot the yote dead in the street.

It looks like the animal just backed off enough so the man couldn't kick him or grab him, but the coyote may have been hanging around looking for a chance to attack again.

My little pocket pistol .380 has a laser sight that ought to give me "minute-of-yote" accuracy out to 15 yards.

Yes, I saw this clip on the news Internet this morning, the game and fish department is advising residents to “stop feeding the coyotes”
yes thats really what they said…(typical for government employees to always blame the citizens)
but
It left me wondering, do people out there really feed coyotes? Who could be that dumb?

The short answer is yes. There are bleeding heart idiots right here in Georgia that believe coyote and man can coexist. Read some of the next door chatter it is brain numbing.

Drove up Highway 1 in California when I had a day off on a business trip over summer. There was sure as **** nothing I wanted to hang around in SF for. A bit past Bodega Bay there were two idiots feeding a coyote in the middle of the day by the side of the road and two other cars of people taking photos.
****ing morons. Thats got to be how cyotes that attack kids are made.

Saw 4 on a jobsite in Marietta yesterday. One came within 10yds. Sorry pics suck. I was in an excavator and there were rain drops on the glass. Customer says he sees them leave their den daily. They were some of the largest yotes I've ever seen.
