I have a 16 year old daughter. It’s like living inside a bag of rattlesnakes. She is my only daughter. Thank God.

Oh they know I don't play anymore. We had a huge "talk" about the disrespect & attitudes. Told them if they want to continue to stay in my home then act like it.. I told them I'd straight up insert foot in ass the next time I even heard an attitude from them.(Of course they're 13 so attitude is part of puberty) But they know now I'm no longer Dad.. I'm back to the Military days with them.. took 1 week of Up at 5:00am shower, dressed,eat and chores. Then I would run them after chores (1 mile up the road and 1 mile back).. they apologized to their mother and I and since then it's been peaceful as a graveyard 😂 😂 they know now that Dad don't bull**** and Dad don't play. The F'd around and found out..

good for you. They might not like it but one day they'll respect you for it. Soon as they have 13 year old hellions of their own.

13 is a great time to show them that you are still large and in charge. Defacs is probably on speed dial with these hellions so get ready for that. But if Defacs wants to raise 'em let them have at it. Life is too short to put up with blatant disrespect from folks YOU feed and clothe.

When my daughter hit that mouthy pre-teen state and threatened me with DFACS, I simply told her:
"Yes, you could call them, and perhaps have me arrested. But eventually, I would be released. What do you think would happen to you then?"
That threat was never made again.

When you’re taking stuff away from them, don’t forget to take their bedroom doors off. They can understand devices being taken away, but their minds pop when they lose the bedroom door.

Spare the rod u have spoiled child got be a parent first .
