I want to fight someone. Where can I do that?

I'd like to do some fighting but I'm not sure where to go. I wrestled in high school, did a little muay thai, and also trained in krav maga for a while. However I have never actually faced an opponent in a ring and fought them one on one and I would like to try it. I am in excellent shape. I work out 2hrs a day 6x a week so physical conditioning is no problem but I just don't know where to go. Can any of you guys point me in the right direction? Perhaps an MMA gym somewhere?

Cool thanks. I've heard of knuckle up before.

Striker is probably closest to Acworth.

I've never heard of them but I'll have to check them out. Thanks

What kind of training do you do 2 hrs a day 6 days a week?

I run 3.5 miles in 30min then I lift weights for 60-90min. Which is a lot but I've been working out pretty regularly for over 10yrs

Hard Knoxx in Kennesaw. If you would like to spar, you could come to my studio. I would like to learn from you if you are willing.

I actually met the owner of Hard Knoxx years ago, I'll have to check that one out too. I don't really have anything to teach, I need to learn too

I used to fight and I do not recommend it. It tears your body up permanently and it makes you more aggressive in public, which can get you into very serious trouble. Like getting locked up and sued for maiming someone in a needless street fight.

If you want something more, try yoga. With yoga you get to fight your own worst enemy every day, and it makes your body feel good, and it clears your mind too.

And in my opinion, any gym that allows newbies into the ring should be avoided as an injury mill.

I'm not worried about getting into fights in public but I am concerned about serious injury. I already have several old injuries which I don't want to make worse. But I realize it is a risk. Yoga doesn't really appeal to me although there would probably be some great scenery in that class. I don't expect to climb into the ring right away but I would like to find a place where I could train for it.

3.5m in 30 minutes? That's out of shape, you're looking to get rolled. Get it down to 24 or less.
