I think you need to re-interpret that law.
I dont think there is a part that says you must ID someone and also require them to have a valid carry permit for a private sale. If there is, then i would like to see it.
But if it tickles your testicles than fine, carry on.

You need to read my post..(You even quoted it),

1.Are you a Georgia resident
2.Are you able to own a gun

If the answer is yes to both then the seller can proceed.
This subject has been covered on here manymanymanymanymanymany times 41Mag and you are well aware of it..and well aware of what Georgia laws require of a private gun sale.
Must be a slow day for you or posts on the site.

So you thought you would start a sailor ID/CCW complaint thread...Carry on.
 
How do you verify that the person you are selling to is "2. Not restricted from owning a gun"? I don't think that looking at a Georgia DL does this.

The law is really NOT very hard to follow guys..
