I won full custody of my son today

i had temporary full custody for a while now.

Got tired of the mom not calling and showing so I sued for full custody.

Today I win sole custody of my son and finally am able to force her to pay me back for all the expenses and child support.

So happy. God is good!

I realize its the term used but "win" just doesn't seem fitting to me for some reason.
I'd say you "earned" it through being a responsible and dedicated father.
