(1) "I traded for this [usually a handgun] and it clearly hasn't been sh0t much" or "Obviously has a low round count" How do you do that? I have guns I know the round count and I can't do that. Is it a gift?

(2) What happens to guns with high round counts? Are they just thrown away? We have cowboy shooters, and IPSC shooters, and NINJA warrior shooters, and no one ever sells a gun "I've shot the crap out of this gun, fired thousands of rounds through it, no problem, hate to sell a gun this good"

And I'm not even going to start a discussion on why round count is such a big deal.

There are vehicles for sale with 225K miles, but no guns with 2000 rounds through them.

If I had all the bullets I’ve fired threw my guns I wouldn’t need to buy any more ammo. I personally won’t have a gun that I have no interest in shooting. Round count doesn’t really mean a whole lot

I picked up an M1A several years ago, somewhere back it was used by someone who shot competitively and shot a lot!
It still shoots far better than me.

If it could talk I would love to hear how many and where she was shot.

As for how do you know? See image.
