I was in local 85 for 4 years. I worked for BHW sheet metal co. And Maxair mech inc.

Yeah I quit in my 3rd year because I was afraid if I didn't suck enough d*** in my company then I was going to get laid off after I turned out. Period. I have 3 cousins that are still in local 85 tho. All have turned out. One works for mckenneys, one works for BHW and one is the organizer for local 85.

Proud member of IBEW L.U. 613 since 2004. Turned out in 2006. NO I am not a Democrat. Been with the same contractor for 13 years solid.
I'm a LU613 member. 8 years and counting!
That's the best thing to do is stay with one contractor. If not you'll be hall trash before long. You already know.
Nothing wrong with unions except it's like a ****ing labor pool. They can swap your ass out for another one anytime they want. I'm not putting a mortgage, 2 cars, an a family of 4 on that.
