Idea for a hunting rifle

You can load up or down, shoot 45LC, 454 Casul, or the 460
And if you put a red dot on it the you can use it either as a rifle or pistol

Another way to go about this is choose what action you like and go from there. When you say "hunting" does that mean only bolt guns, or are you liking levers and semi's also. I hunt with a 6.8 AR. 308 is a good caliber because, the cheaper the ammo the more you practice and the better you'll shoot. I've always liked guns like the Remington 740 or 7400 in 30-06. It's a round that'll take down just about anything and quick on the follow up shots. And they can be had quite reasonably priced.
