I'd also look at the NW corner. Seems the adjoining land on the N boundary lacks cover. Possibly a narrow funnel in NW corner. Where are you entering the land?

Northeast corner looking south if you can get up in a treestand high enough to see through the brush some.
Got a overview of the land plot(Google maps)
A lot of that brush will die down once it starts to frost some before long.
From the photos there looks to be a small opening in the hardwoods at the northeast corner that has two relatively secluded openings on either side of that corner of the property. Along with that there is that wooded funnel leading away from the northeast corner. If there are any mast producing trees in or around that small opening I would bet on that being a staging area around dusk and dawn. That's where I would focus my attention.
Yep, get those estrus wicks ready and hope you don't have to worry too much about the perfect location although that northeast corner looking into that field would be my best guess for your ladder.
Get your butt out there an hour before sun up and two hours before sun down.
Keep in mind your new ladder is gonna stick out like a sore thumb to them until they see it for quite some time and get used to its presence so don't be shocked if you get some dirty looks from rudolf and his pals.
