A weeks worth of observation:
Got off work last Friday morning: did not hook up charger or plug in
Saturday around noon, mid 40*: tried to turn over but ran battery down before cranking. Plugged in and battery charger on it.
Saturday around 5: buddy comes by with a battery tester. Cranks up w/o hesitation and batteries/alternator test good.
Rest of week, plugged in, but no battery charger.
Saturday morning (yesterday): plugged in, no charger; hesitant to start. Turns over, but weak. Cranks before killing battery. Drives fine, but stutters a little once home and parked (idles down then back to normal).
Saturday: afternoon, plugged in no charger. Hesitant to crank.
Same scenario Sunday morning after work (got home. Engine shutters on putting it into park, but cranks up w/o hesitation upon trying it) and hesitation this afternoon headed to work.
6 miles to and from work. On the way to work I stop to get supplies and leave truck running. Straight home after work. Rarely leave the house on days off or trips less than a few miles. Am I not driving it enough to keep batteries charged??
