did anyone see the news today that had the kid screaming for help before he was shot on the 911 tapes ?
alot a people seem to think that there is some other back story which has the kid doing wrong and zimmerman defended himself ...ok but is it self defense if you create and manufacture an altercation that you can no longer control peacefully ?
then you introduce the only deadly weapon in the situation and " resolve" it with deadly force
a knee cap or shoulder would not been enough ?
take the race card out of the picture and imagine its your kid looking "suspicious" (because wearing a hooded sweatshirt in the rain is suspicious) and he has not done any illegal activity yet even if he intended too would you want him approached and shot by a untrained citizen (police officers are train to identify and resolve problematic situations as peacefully as possible) neighborhood watch commanders are not

my only question about the screaming for help part is "who" was the one screaming for help? There has not been a definitive answer to that anywhere that i can find.
Its hard to really point the finger here because only one of the participants of the altercation is alive to tell the tale. No he shouldn't have chased the kid especially when 911 told him not too. At that point you let it go. From the records they have of this guy he seems a little overzealous where his job is concerned. I think they said he's called in 40 something incidents in a few months. If he instigated the incident wouldn't the kid fighting back be self defense? And of course the family is going to paint the victim in the best light possible as they believe he was in the right. And let's not forget that the great Jesse Jackson is getting involved now. This is the part I just don't get, why immediately pull the race card? It only turns an ugly incident that much worse. We will just have to wait til all the details come out but honestly it's not looking good for the guy.
I don't know if the shooter was right or wrong, thats for a jury to decide but the media keeps flashing a picture of a 9 yr. ols dressed in a midget football uniform. He was 17 yrs. old 6'2'', 210 lbs. and wearing a hoodie in Central Fla. ?? Sharpton and Jackson will be there soon looking for donations.

to me this guy should offend all legal carry and conceal permit holders
his actions endangers all of the work to further ccw rights
he is reason why they regulate honest citizens so much
he wasnt chasing the kid... they were merely running in the same direction... the kid attacked this poor man and he defended himself. looks like self defense to me.
