They are true TV monsters. Nothing man can think of to be a scary monster that beats a spider. I lived in Oklahoma and tarantulas were everywhere. Not so bad, slow moving and don't bite. Very docile specimens. Still creepy but nothing like those huge long legged tree spiders. Eeek! Dude you have never seen a 260 lb. human move so fast in your life.
