I'm 99% sure the dealership stole my G17.

You need to be 100% sure it was there right before taking the Jeep into the dealership. If you are going to accuse a man of stealing, you need to be sure. There is a huge difference between "I could have sworn that it was there" and "I swear it was there."

Many maids have been fired because a woman misplaces a piece of jewelry only to find it later.

agreed. thats why I took the time to check the only other places that it could be before calling the cops.

The fact that it is not those places does not mean it was stolen at the dealership or by an employee. Reporting the gun missing is a good idea, but tread lightly before accusing the dealership or technicians.

I agree. I made it very clear to the officer what was hard fact, and what was conjecture. No worries. I didnt go in there like a hot head or anything.
