Im over this B.S

hey...
I know, beating a dead horse but damn.. asking new prices for used guns??!! Like wtf is going on with these people???!! You give a trade offer that costs more than their gun and they're like "throw in $150/$250 & it's a deal!" I'm like "naw, yours Is 100% used and you can tell but you want $1600 for a gun that sales for less than $1200 used??" Folks are on some serious Sh*t these days..😂
. i was only asking $1400 for it....

You should have offered him $1,800 for the car. You never know, they might take the cash offer.
Well it's like the point of that comment. If it had been priced even as much as $2750.00 I would have assumed that was our starting point. But when I walk up and first thing I see is a comically outlandish price I just assume I'm dealing ( or would be dealing) with a greedy jagoff who most likely has a **** attitude on top of that. Knowing that I just move on.

Can’t blame someone for trying to get top dollar. Never know. The gun and ammo runs have officially closed. Stores are stocked with full shelves and racks. There’s a trillion dollar personal debt out there and prices on nonessential is going to fall. I’ve got all the guns, knives and toys you could ask for, if I never buy another gun, knife or toy, I’m good. It’s ugly out there and it ain’t going to go away soon, bills keep coming.

When all the old folks die and their heirs sell $1000 fire arms for $150.
Think back to the first three Trump years. ARs got SO cheap that guys on here would act like you were offering them a Hi Point for trade. Seriously back when we lived in Darien the Brunswick Walmart still had like three different styles of ARs in their gun case. Then they marked them all down to get rid of them. Some guys here claimed they were bowing down to the anti gunners . What they were really doing was getting rid of dust collectors. Shelf space at Walmart is valuable real estate and anything not selling has to go. Back then everyone already had AT LEAST one AR. The market was flooded with them and to some degree it still is.
During the Trump years I bought pump shotguns here for $100.00 each. No not 870s or even Mossberg but solid guns none the less. I bought two separate RG snubs in 32 Long and 38 Special for $100.00 each . That was what they're actually worth. Today they would be $200.00 and that's as dumb as paying $600.00 for an SKS.
Anyway I don't know if inflation will get under control any time soon but I DO believe the new and used gun market will soon crash. And that's good for all of us.

How is crushing the firearms industry via crashing new gun prices good for us? Do you hate innovation? Do you hate massive dollars going toward fighting anti gun laws? Do you hate protecting the 2A? Is it just shortsighted selfishness?
