Well the good news is I believe gun prices should crash pretty soon.

They are and will continue to do so, but the high end stuff will maintain the matrix pricing as will the manufacturer contractual minimum sale prices. Ammo is already falling. This next 2 years will be the time to stock up if that ones fancy. I saw one retailer who knocked $50 off a flat (10 boxes) of Remington Nitro Express target ammo. Tells me what I already knew, it's the retailers who are reaming buyers.
