I find the highest priced new online and post a screenshot of that. Then add 10% for tax.

Well, I just posted a badass cr920 combat with Holosun 407k X2 with 2mags and fitted holster with range bag. 20 down the pipe... $850 cash or $950 trade..

The issue is that by not calling out people on their obscene prices, fosters a culture of haggling. I hate being haggled down, just like a hate haggling people. Just price your stuff accordingly, stop being lazy and price check your own items before posting.
"Don't buy if you don't like the price" is silly, there are operational costs to running a business, by pricing things idiotically you will run yourself out of business, there are no operational costs to essentially "sh!tposting" guns for sale at idiotic prices, it's just annoying at creates a lot of noise via useless posts.
This is America, not some stupid market in Baghdad or China, i hate haggling cultures.

It's a site selling used items, of course there will be haggling! Most items here - and life in general - have a price built in for negotiations. If someone has an obscene price then even haggling won't bring it down to a realistic one. That's just one I scroll on by and don't waste time.
