I'm going all out with a fully custom 6.5 Creedmoor built by another ODT member. This rifle will be specifically for PRS matches. I've done the RPR thing and it's just not for me, even though that rifle is tremendously accurate. It's too bulky and unwieldy. I'm more of a traditional bolt guy.

I'll keep this thread updated as this progresses.

That sounds awesome. Look forward to seeing pics. Should have waited until you got that to pick up my red dot so you could show it off!

What kind of accuracy were you getting from the rpr?

Easy sub half MOA without messing around with load development. I hand loaded a starter round after doing a ladder test to check pressures, put three on target that measured under 0.5 MOA and was done with load development. If I had gotten serious about it I could have probably developed a load shooting around 0.25.

Very accurate rifle. Just not my thing. I'd rather shoot a half minute rifle that I'm comfortable on than a quarter minute rifle I'm having to force it with.
