Info and fair value of Mauser K98 rifle wanted (more pics on page 2)

Looks like a nice unmolested rifle, as stated above all parts look right, all should be milled steel not stamped. I can't tell what the flip side of the stock looks like to see how the sling is attached. It may have been French cut to use a MAS sling for post war use by their border patrol. Look for matching serial numbers on the rear sight leaf and guide, upper band, lower band, bottom of stock and buttplate. If this 80 year old gun could only talk.

All the numbers look like a match with milled parts in the right place, except for the bolt. As I thought the stock was French cut for use with their MAS slings, most French cut guns I have seen were the pick of the litter, usually early war models all matching with little field use. You have a very nice example there my friend, pricing is the what you need to get and what someone is willing to pay in today's inflated market for K98s.
