Injured guard suing FEDEX

Fedex shooting.jpg

If an employer's concerns that they can be sued for "allowing legal lawful carry" why the hell can't they be responsible when disarming honest citizens via a policy that conflicts/contradicts our state law?

I have said this many a time, when the citizens who have been victimized by these liberal anti-rights/anti-gun policies, some with the force of state law, begin to make the parties responsible for their "policies" it will change the misconceptions.

SCOTUS has consistently ruled that your personal safety is yours and yours alone to bear. No 911 operator, nor police or Army is responsible for "your safety". It can not be delegated as it is an individual's responsibility.

The whole concept of disarming the honest for their own safety conflicts with the natural order of a society and should bring into bear a specific measure of responsibility to those who would dictate it and demand it.

The guard's wife was on the radio last week. Apparently, they have pretty much lost everything since the shooting.

I dont think you can hold a peivate company liable for 3rd party criminal action

Probably not going to go anywhere, but it's going to generate a lot of attention.
Sounds more like a workers comp case than anything else right now.
It will be interesting read the complaint if it becomes available.

Private property laws will be the death of this case.
