In response Red Hill Range will be hosting an intermediate pistol class Mar 13th, 2021 from 1pm to 5pm. This builds upon the lessons taught in our Basic class. Prerequisite is either completion of the morning class or demonstrated basic pistol skills (THERE WILL BE A TEST)!
This class will cover basic pistol safety, drawing from a holster, concealed carry theory and discussion, reveiw of your grip, stance, trigger manipulation, etc. This is an intermediate class focused heavily on safety and safe gun handling.There will be classroom as well as some live fire training using our airsoft training pistols. We are trying to adjust our training so that the students are not burdened by additional cost and allocation of ammo.We will have multiple instructors on hand to help students and to answer questions. We are keeping the class size limited to 8 people.
Students should bring eye and ear protection, a hat, a standard belt (prefer 1.5 inch wide), note taking material, and any convenience items (snacks, drinks, etc).
At the end of the coarse there may be an opportunity for live fire of your carry pistol IF time permits. If you elect to do this you need to bring everything including ammo with you. There will be none of these for sale at the range.
This is a great opportunity to get some training without spending hundreds of dollars and hoping to find ammo. This is not our CCW class, but we will discuss some of the same things we cover in that class.
