Are these anymore sought after than any other M1?

And @ a price tag of 2300.00 also many many en bloc clips with ammo at 10 a piece? Looks almost to pretty to be original. Just curious if that is a reasonable price they are asking. Yes I saw it in person but did not study it much.

Not an expert at all, but I do think they bring more in general, since fewer were produced. Unless there is some other aspect to this rifle (serial number or parts) that adds value - I'd say that is too much.

Most have been rebuilt at least once over time.

They aren’t as plentiful and do tend to fetch a premium, usually 1200-1400 depending on condition. There is an uncommon version called a “gap letter” IH that typically sells to collectors for around 2200+

I don’t know more than you my friend but I do know a little.
your right Gap letter gets a premium over postage stamp
all matching gun is a premium , stock with appropriate Julian date is also desired
