I am undertaking a project. I have some nice ironwood walnut stocks shipping to me, and I am going to finish them for my AK.
I am not all that familiar with which finishes work best with walnut. I am thinking about WATCO, but I haven't decided yet. I know walnut is naturally dark, but I am not looking to go as dark as something like Tung oil would make it.
Anyone given this a shot? Any tips?
