I was planning on picking up a .357 Sig barrel for an M&P .40 for a little more versatility and performance. Barrel costs less than $100. What do y'all think?

I love the round, it is more expensive to shoot, but you can get Ultramax at midway for about .31 a round, it is watered down to .40 specs but great to practice with

I think it's a great round, although I've never owned a gun in this caliber. I've shot other peoples guns in that caliber .
The idea of a bullet that matches a 357 magnum revolver ballistics, but is suitable to shoot through a modern normal size semi automatic pistol, is a wonderful idea.

I also like the fact that for feeding up the feed ramp and into the chamber you're aiming a 9 mm bullet towards a 10 mm hole. That should make it much more forgiving of any misalignment . In theory, it should be much more reliable for feeding ammo into the chamber.
