Just got to keep, keeping on. There’s always something coming up and plans don’t always work out. I’m reducing my stuff and usually the kids, wife, house or vehicles suck up the $. The timing is damn suspect when that $ comes in lol!
I just walked around two car lots in Warner Robins and stood at the counter at Carmax for at least 10 minutes without even being acknowledged. WTF?! When I was in the bidness if you just slowed down in the parking lot 2 guys would be on you . I don't wanna buy a car but my wife needs something better than this damn 2010 Soul that's nickel and diming me to death. Problem is I wanna buy a cheap gas mileage car around $10K. Well...good luck.

What did Bill Clinton look at the camera and say with a straight face? " I feel your pain." Not being a smartass here. But my point was that I have been trying to stash a hundred at least every other week. But every week it's something else. Last week I bought a headlight switch for the 01 Dakota SLT that will be my daughter's truck soon. The parking and brake lights stayed on no matter what. So I bought that $79.00 switch and to her credit she did most of the work getting the old one out . Short answer here is that wasn't the problem. Turns out to be a damn daytime running light switch under the kick panel that would have been SO much easier to replace. Well that switch is another $80.00 AND I can't return/exchange the other one.
That's the kinda **** that's been going on with me every single week this year.
You should know …..that’s why you DIAGNOSE a problem before you toss parts at it.

I took the word of a "Mechanic" . And it made perfect sense at the time. See back then Mopar STILL got their wiring and electronics from Mitsubishi which was big mistake. Back in 19 I got a gimme deal on an 04 Grand Cherokee 6cyl/2wd for my other daughter. Not two months into it the anti theft **** activated and it never did run right again. **** Jeep, Dodge, Chrysler!

There's plenty of fixes that I've done on the 60 + vehicles I've owned since 87. But these days I just don't wanna deal with it. Like the headlight switch in the Dakota. Even if they would take it back I'm at the point to where I would rather just leave it alone. It's already in there and it works so...
