Is Fulton Armory my best bet for a new M1 Carbine?

hey guys,

I have the urge to get an M1 Carbine, but I think I'd do well to just spring the extra cash and buy a brand new production unit over an old one. That said, is Fulton Armory my best bet? I know there's Inland, too, but I get the vibe Fulton is supposed to be pretty top-notch, right? If the quality difference is there, I'm okay with paying a little bit extra

I second that! Buy an old one and shoot the heck out of it. Low pressure cartridge, those guns last forever.

Also, the originals have a hammer-forged receiver. Are the Fultons cast or forged?

Inland company is making them mixed reviews, about $1,000 I'd only buy USGI!

I've only sold/traded a few guns over the years that I wish I had back. My Rock-Ola M1 is one of them.

As mentioned, I'd go with a USGI
