Bernie pushes for the government to take care of everything via taxation (aka theft, extortion, force) of the upper class. Kinda like all the ODT members crying for Okuma (ODT's government) to provide giveaway day via donations from sponsors.

What I'm advocating is the complete opposite. Instead of relying on the ownership here to do giveaway we just simply do our own. It's called voluntarism and is the polar opposite of socialism

I have given away lots of good stuff on giveaway day, and of course it was all voluntarily. Quite a few of us have done this. I agree we can and should have our own giveaway day if we really want one. Then each person giving stuff away can weed out all the 1 post freeloaders. Solves that problem...Of course if we did this, next year they will start a thread asking if we are having member giveaway day.

And excellent point, everyone who cries about newbies winning can put stipulations in there giveaways that says you need x number of post or feedback to enter.

Let's put a clause in this giveaway. If you haven't been active on the ODT on a regular basis your ineligible for the giveaway. That should reduce the number of opportunist Bastards that magically appear on giveaway day. It should help with the secondary screen name as well.

Ain't nobody required to do ****. If you choose to do a giveaway to can make whatever stipulations you want. It's always been like that anyway.

I think it should be for only ODT’ers with over 70,000 posts... I know somebody that would clean up...!
