I agree best to stay in the vehicle and keep moving the "don't get out of car with a gun, cause it will be taken from you" is unlikely if one is honestly ready to fire upon the mob. Gun fire has a way of making people go away expeditiously.

Number 1, I am not going into a situation that would harm myself or family intentionally.
Number 2, no one really has any idea what they will do, until that scenario happens, if caught in that situation.
Number 3, If I were caught in that situation and felt that the lives in the vehicle with me, were threatened with serious bodily harm or death...I would do what ever it takes to make myself and those with me safe.
