"Is it legal" AR pistol question

From what I've read, a vertical fore grip is legal if the oal is greater than 26" not incl a removable muzzle device. Mine is 28" oal with KAK micro can & 27" without it. The brace isn't all the way forward but the set screw is in where I like it so it's not easily moved without removing the set screw.

Does this seem reasonable that it would be legal with a vertical grip?
What's the rule, if any, about a two point sling? Couldn't find definite info on that.

I've never heard anything about a sling being illegal on a pistol.
As far as the VFG, like he said ^ run an AFG if you need something up front.

vert grips on a pistol are a no no. the afg is a hand stop, not a grip.

i think the AOL is the pistol and the tube, not the brace.

That's the article that I read...about oal greater than 26" but it didn't seem clear on the brace adjustment.

26" is fine with a vertical grip on your firearm as long as it's not measured with your threaded flashhider.

Cut the stock and the barrel down to ½ the size it is now. Secure it behind the driver's door panel in your vehicle and don't say anything to anybody. Remember, however, only bring it out after midnight; but keep a sharp eye out for security cameras and such.
