Is Keltec the Waffle House waitress of guns?

Have you ever had a problem with rimlock? I carry Fiocchi 73G FMJ in mine after watching a Lucky Gunner review/testing of 32ACP ammo on Youtube. Apparently they make a 60G JHP that is a little hotter than the FMJ. Thinking I need to get a box and hit the range.
I've heard of rim lock, never experienced it in my P32, which is only fed 60 gr. Winchester Silvertips.

Edit: oops, looks like those Silvertips are no longer in production.
Glad I stocked up years sgo.

In all honesty I have fired less than two mags out of mine. And about two years ago I wound up with nearly a full box of Winchester Silvertip 32 ammo. And many years ago I read that it was THE go to ammo for carrying a 32 auto. In fact the original Seacamp 32 was designed specifically for that round. They even suggested that ammo and only that ammo for carry use in the older Seacamp owners manuals.
Now I realize that all that info is very dated as in early 90s . But I've always had good luck with Silvertip ammo in other calibers so I figured it would be good to go. I do need to try it out if I ever get another shooting spot.
Ironic that this comment came up while I'm watching a Mishaco ( blind AK expert) video on the Zastava M70 in 32acp. I scored one of those from a member in Griffin last summer and I really dig this pistol. Yeah it's too big and heavy compared to the P32 for me to switch them out. But these things are solid as hell. There's one listed here now with a real nice Cerakote job in like satin stainless. I'd love to have it too.

Well, maybe so for the comparison. Spent $200 on a P 17 the other day. Took it to the range and proceeded to shoot a variety of ammo thru it…..to the tune of about 1k rounds. My thumbs were sore. Not one FTF, or issue, It kinda scared me a little……taking it back for more today.

If Keltec p32 is the waffle house gun, allow me to introduce the Ritz Carlton gun.

Yeah, I had a Milford Seecamp .32 for a while. Quality like a Swiss watch.
Sold it when I got my KelTec P32 broken in.
I think you made a good choice. Not likely that an "encounter" will last much more than 3 seconds or three shots, but if a second mag. is needed the P32 could save you valuable seconds.

The Seecamp .32 is a fine gun, but needing two hands to drop a mag. and having one less round could be costly. Just my 2c.
