Is "knockdown power" real?

I need a round with this type of knock down power.
I've seen Taliban tagged with 50bmg. Gravity did more than the bullet. Even seen a point blank execution to the head with a Dshk.

"Knockdown" power is not a measure used to evaluate bullet/caliber performance on game or men.
Velocity, ft/lbs of energy and bullet construction are effective measures of killing power.
I tend to ignore a lot of the scientific mumbo jumbo and listen to people who have been there/done that...like military folks or elk/bear guides with 30 or 40 years experience.
Elk guide's post on western hunting forum is what convinced me that a .300 win mag will kill elk better than a 7 mag. He based his conclusion on the last 100 elk....with detailed records.
