I have an approximately 80 year old barn I am taking apart (when time permits!) and wondering if anyone is buying such these days. I plan on using a good bit of it but lots of wood there. Mostly oak, with some locust posts. I am slowly taking it to another barn I have to keep it out of the weather.

That's an entire industry, both the wood and the barn depending on how old and complete it is.

My ceiling (24') is a 50 year old barn that was being demolished in Illinois. I had it hauled down and used other pieces throughout the house. Yes, there is a market. And it is expensive.
