I'm watching a show called 'Pig Bomb' on the Destination Channel filmed in 2008 and they make it seem as though South GA is over-run by vicious wild hogs.
I lived in PA for the past 12 years so I have been away for awhile but don't remember hogs running through the streets of small towns like the show mentions as happening before. I lived in Marshallville and Fort Valley back in the early '70s and practically lived outside and never saw a wild pig or remember anyone talking about them. I do remember packs of dogs being a problem and the farm near us lost a few Brahma calves to them, but other than snakes and deer I don't remember any other nuisance animals.
If someone is having a problem with hogs please let me know if I can help...I love bacon.
