Is there ammo available for anything anymore?

AMMO IS NOT THAT SCARCE! Sandy Springs Gun Club has ammo in stock. My brother and I shot 100 rds of .45 and 50 rds of 9mm today that we bought at the range. We could have gotten more and could have shot more, but had other things to do and ran out of time. It is taking a while for everything to catch up because everyone is still buying everything they can get there hands on. If SSGC can up their limit on range ammo in the last two weeks from 1 box to 2 boxes per range customer, then the ammo companies must be making progress towards catching up. If everyone would quit buying into the panic and stop buying ammo for one month, the shelves would fill up pretty quickly everywhere. I could have bought over 450 rds of .45 acp and about 2500 rds of .22LR today, but didn't because I don't really need it right now. I did buy 500 rds of .45 acp bullets for reloading from TruPrep in Marietta and they still had another 500 rd box when I was there earlier today.

SANDY SPRINGS GUN CLUB AND RANGE. I said that both times I posted in this thread. Walk in, turn left, lots of ammo right next to gun counter. Blazer 22LR 500 rd bricks $27.95.

I think so, but as stated earlier I'm not sure of everything they have in stock currently. I didn't see any SD .45 acp, but I wasn't really looking for SD ammo and paid zero attention to any other calibers they had.

I agree about there being more to it than just panic buying. But that really doesnt explain the absence of 22 other than panic buying.

I bet the distributers are buying less than they should just to keep the price high, or do the stores mostly buy factory direct?

Yeah but that hasnt really emptied the shelves before or drive cost up.

Figure the squirrelers are probably doubling up because of the other panic buying. Everyone knows squirrelers go squirrel hunting so they can target shoot. Then there are the bunny chasers.... Really, in the Metro Atlanta area there have been no problems for me finding .22s. I'm loaded with Stingers, CCI shorts, Colibri (that was ordered over the internet). .22mag is slightly limited, but not a problem.
