Is this a even trade you think? I need help.

I have a Springfield xdm 45 3.8 all black with original box documents and xdm gear. I'm considering trading for a Springfield a1 1911 his gun has four magazines and comes with a leather holster no box documents or gear besides listed. As far as value wise is this a even or uneven trade?

My purely biased opinion (biased against plastic guns) is that you are getting the better end of the deal by getting a 1911 for a polymer gun. That said though if you both are happy with what you give and what you get then that is all that matters. Too much is made of "trade value". If the 2 parties are happy then it is a fair trade value.

Uneven. 1911 is worth more. I really like xdm's though and would trade a 1911 for 1 if I had an extra laying araound.
