In prime to excellent condition cosmetically, i would value mine at about $750- $900

That seems to be the going rate. I wouldnt give more than about $500-600 for that one because of the finish. Although it may clean up some.

Just my opinion, of course.

There's been a big glut of foreign surplus Hi-Powers over the last few years. Many have the Browning and FN marks on them.

If it was pristine it would be worth a little more, but that one has seen better days. If you can get the serial number you can look up how old it is.

looks like mid 70's to early 80's typical hi-power with some finish wear

Thanks guys, like alot of the members on here nowadays I haven't heard back from the fellow in a while, so a trade may be a moot point now (no one on here though).........
