When I was stationed in the Philippines I ate monkey “unggoy adobo“ and ”aso adobo” which was monkey and dog in adobo sauce which both was really good. The dog was stringy like a pot roast and the monkey was tough but when you think about how nasty hogs and chicken pens are they are pretty clean comparatively. It’s all about what you’re use to.
