So what exactly is more important than your family?I got a lot more important stuff to do than waste my time and money worrying / preparing for WW3......It is up to you hard core survivalists to ensure civilization goes on.

When I was 6 I was pretty well convinced I was going to either live out my life in the local bowling alley, which doubled as the fallout shelter in our town, existing on whatever was in those 55 gallon drums with the civil defense logo on them, or die in the hall of my school along with my classmates, back against the wall, head between my legs. (My fellow old people will understand this)
I haven’t so much bought the hype since then. Not a prepper but we are prepared. I have an expiration date and not overly concerned about when that might come. Above my pay grade.
I do hate the mess we are leaving for our kids and grandkids, Hope we’ve raised them smart enough and tough enough to meet the challenge.
stay fit spiritually, mentally, physically, financially, keep your fences mended with family and friends, the rest is going to be what it’s going to be. Don’t stress over it.
