Pffft. Amateurs. After buying the first thing ever on FB Marketplace, I made the mistake of posting something there for sale. If I survive what is supposedly going to finally be a meet tomorrow, I may post the comedy that ensued.

Update to post: I’ve had three more ghosts this week asking the same repetitious questions…

A disturbing trend has become wide spread…”ghosts”. To define one on ODT requires certain criteria. 1. This entity has a very low score for feedback. 2. They are members that first say “I’m interested” 3. They want additional pictures of product even though you have 4 in the ad. 4. What’s your best price is the next request. 5. Followed by ” you have to come to me”. 6. They quit communication and disappear into the mist, leaving you hanging and missing another opportunity.
Management needs to offer another option on feedback, a ghost score, reviewed by management on a documented case by case basis and added to the score review.
3 s and you’re off the board for awhile.
