So here's a theory about planting now.
Planting now, you obviously run the real risk of burn out.
But.... there is obviously still a lot more browse left so 'maybe' your plots have a better chance of not getting completely hammered by deer before getting established. Just a theory.
I just plant when I can (and this weekend was it).
Don't forget to lime! If it's in Georgia, it needs lime. Guaranteed.
