Good on ya! My last interview, I bought a brand new shirt and tie...I ALWAYS buy a new tie whenever I interview. It's my Good Luck Charm. The lead interviewer went on and on about my tie...I told him, "Here, you can have it, just hire me!"

I got the job and was able to keep the tie.
